My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the Admiral hardy. It was very straightforward communicating with them after the booking and the check in process was very straightforward. We had selected a king suite which happened to be right up at the top of the building. So a decent climb to the top but it was very doable. Our room was lovely and cozy, It was very nicely furnished with period furniture that was quaint but stylish without being naff. We had a nice north facing window with views of the cutty sark and the maritime college. Our en-suite was spacious and featured a lovely bath and rain shower. The subway tiles and silver fittings were very nicely done. The bathroom was spotless as was our room. Very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Fresh towels and our bed made every day. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft, though it was so warm in the summer we had the sheets kicked off for the most part. The fan in the room was very welcome to cool the space and pull in some fresh air. We didn't try out the pub/restaurant at the inn. Though we heard lots of good things about it, We'll have to try the fish and chips next time. For me what really made our stay was the location. Our room was wonderful to be in but it was an excellent base for our trip to London. The back door of the hotel opens into the Greenwich market so each morning we had an exciting breakfast, trying something new every day and had some beautiful coffee. We were only a few steps away from the DLR at Cutty Sark at Greenwich, which well connected us to the rest of the TFL network. And the pier at Greenwich (which I think people don't use enough!) is a fantastic way to get from one end of the city to the other. We were well served by pubs and restaurants nearby, as well as grocery shops and corner stores.

Because of the age & history of the building it was full of quirky spaces and original features which we found charming. The rooms are up at the top, some of them in the attic. Our room had old world charm, but with a modern bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view of the Cutty Sark which was lit up for Christmas when we were there. The location is fabulous sitting nicely between the river and the Royal Observatory. There is a gorgeous street market at the back full of lovely little stalls and shops. We were going to the O2 Arena and it was so easy to just jump on a bus there and back. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Loved this place!

Claire

Really quaint rooms in a lovely pub, great view over the rooftops of the Cutty Sark. Very clean with great facilities. All the staff were very friendly and a nice addition of a discount in the bar for food and drinks, which we had and food was really good. Would highly recommend anyone visiting London to come to Greenwich, a completely different experience to the other areas we’ve visited. We chose this area as we were going to the O2 and it was perfect, getting the boat on way there and a taxi back. We had a key to gain access at the back, everything was great.

The hotel location is wonderful right in the heart of Greenwich next to Greenwich Market. The staff were wonderfully helpful. Alex insisted on carrying one of our suitcases up to our room. The room was super cute and cozy on the top floor of the hotel overlooking the Cutty Sark and the Thames. It was extremely quiet. The bathroom looks like it was recently renovated in a beautiful modern motif. The room was extremely clean. We liked having the restaurant and bar on the ground level with a 10% discount on food and drinks.

David

The room and comfy bed. The furniture and mirrors and decor. There was a fan on the wall, which was useful as it was quite a hot day. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower was excellent. There were plenty of drinks and a kettle provided. The location was perfect not far from the tube station and other pubs and eateries, and the Maritime Museum Cutty Sark and Greenwich market was behind us. We came to visit my partners son, who lives further into Greenwich, but still a short walk away from where we were staying.
